This logo created by Eduardo Garcia is part of an environmental awareness campaign that would be launched on Earth day to promote a new product line by KMART called Karma.
The link above will take you to the work of several other students who developed ideas for campaigns to encourage recycling at the school.
Each student came up with an identity design and campaign components for the project. They were provided a name for the campaign by a staff member who had been trying to raise awareness about recyling on campus. He plays the role of the client and weighs in on everyone's work. This gave the students the experience of receiving feedback from a client.
The students worked as a team to create original publications. They were asked to develop a unique concept for a publication that was marketable to an intended target audience. They came up with a name and branded it and worked cohesively together to implement and produce the design. You can follow their process by clicking on the link above.
